Improa! presents: Improvised Opera

Each performance of "Improa! presents: Improvised Opera" is uniquely crafted from audience suggestions, ensuring a novel and spontaneous opera experience every time.

The ensemble features the talented improv sopranos Mia Heikkinen and Jenni Lättilä, accompanied by pianist Mikko Helenius. The show is guided by director and master of ceremonies, Juulia Tapola.

The Improa! group has established a presence at Music Theatre Kapsäkki, with additional appearances at the Espa Stage and in the Hansa Quarter in Turku, showcasing their innovative "Women's Room!" improvised opera concept. Last fall, they introduced a fresh improvisational piece titled "After The Marriage of Figaro," where the audience influences the unfolding of lives from Mozart’s famed opera.
